How NOT to Succeed at Day Trading - A Definitive Guide
The Power of Inversion
Inversion is thinking of what you want to achieve but in reverse. Instead of focusing on future success, you focus on what leads to failure so you can make efforts to avoid it. Charlie Munger, of Berkshire Hathaway, uses this technique for investing. In his words, he tries 'to be consistently not stupid, instead of trying to be very intelligent. It’s not brilliance. It’s just avoiding stupidity.' Below is a comprehensive list of how not to succeed at day trading. As ridiculous as some of these points sound, every trader has been guilty of committing them at some point in their journey.
Unrealistic Timeline and Expectations
You will be consistently profitable in 6 months (or less) because you are different.
You’ve had success in other parts of life, so that should carry over into trading.
What took most professionals thousands of hours to accomplish, you can do in a few hundred. You’re pretty good at video games and/or poker, after all.
It only takes a few business days to open an account and fund it. They didn't even ask for qualifications—how hard can it be?
Online trading is so accessible and streamlined nowadays. Everybody's doing it. These brokers must really want you to join the party!
Treat trading like a hobby instead of a serious business (i.e., a money pit vs. revenue source).
Stock go up, stock go down. Press the button and make money. Can’t get more simpler than that. This isn’t rocket science.
Back-testing is a waste of time. You can earn-while-you-learn by forward-testing with real money. Gotta think in terms of opportunity cost.
Sense of urgency: the longer you wait to start trading with meaningful size, the higher the chance that the market won’t be there tomorrow. Don't want to miss out on any potential gains, right?
Daydream about that travel setup and trading from a tropical location. Life is just too short. Genghis Khan—the greatest nomad of all-time—only lived to 65.
Lack of Education and Self-Development
Education is not required. Trading isn't like other jobs or careers. Just trial and error your way to becoming a professional.
Do not paper trade: it’s for pussies.
Watch a few YouTube videos and/or read a couple of books. If these content creators and authors are profitable, you can be too.
No need for a trading business plan. You’ll write it as you go, or keep it in your head.
Success will be measured by results, not by following a system or process.
Do not study dead charts. Nothing can be learned from reviewing the past.
Do not journal or review your trades. Too time consuming and retrospective.
Do not track performance or advanced statistics. Not like you have to report to a boss or shareholders. Accountability is for accountants.
Switch strategies after every losing week. If an edge actually existed, you would have proven it after a dozen trades.
Pro Tip: Join a Discord or chatroom to absorb the success that radiates from others. There’s no way the Fearless Leader would manipulate results to attract business.
Blindly copy or mirror trades with no understanding of the idea and entry/exit criteria.
Non-Existent Strategy and Edge
A repeatable edge is unnecessary. Take trades based on hunches and feels. Hype and Hope > Research and Analysis.
Search for the Holy Grail and get lost in the clutter of indicators. Information overload and paralysis by analysis.
Try to jump in-and-out based on whichever way the market is moving.
Trade options with no understanding of the Greeks. If possible, use margin on top of leverage for maximum exponential growth.
Who cares about the overall market environment! During a Bull Run you are a genius (2020-21), and during a Bear Market you’ll just do the opposite (2022).
Trade counter-trend as much as possible to prove that you are smarter than the herd. What do these institutions know anyway?
Try to time reversals to flex that you were the first one to get in/out at the top/bottom (and therefore the smartest). Makes for great social media posts.
Trade exclusively on the 1-minute chart because looking at other timeframes is a waste of mental effort. Not like you’re swing trading or holding all-day.
Predict rather than react. You are never wrong, just early.
Irresponsible Account and Money Management
Start with a small account and set unrealistic expectations.
Open Excel and compound +2% for 240 days. It's 113x!
You’ll be able to grow $5000 and trade for a living because somebody else did it online (with verified results).
Use the maximum leverage/margin offered by your broker. Who cares if it works both ways—you don’t plan on losing.
Trade with money you can’t afford to lose. If insufficient funds, then take out a loan.
Do not set a max loss per day. Continue trading until the closing bell or after-hours if your broker allows it. Only quitters accept a red day. Only losers give up.
If still in the red, look into 24/7 forex and crypto trading.
Rack up commissions trying to get back to break-even.
Aim for the fences every single day, or go broke trying to hit an arbitrary daily goal. Small green or break-even is a waste of a trading session and your time.
Absence of Risk Management
Risk a large percentage of your account on each individual campaign.
Use fixed share size or a predetermined amount per position.
Advanced: Max out buying power when you are feeling confident in the trade idea.
Double your size following a winning streak. You’ve got the hot hand!
Also, double your size following a loser to get back to break-even quicker.
A string of consecutive losers should cause irreparable damage to your account. No worries, you can always top up the balance and start over.
No set rules or risk parameters. They are too constricting and confining. Safety nets are for noobs.
Focus solely on how much each trade can make, not how much you can lose.
Poor Trade Execution and Trade Management
No need for a trading plan. We’ll do it live!
Enter via flying by the seat of your pants. Exit after soiling the seat of your pants.
Don’t set a profit target because that would require analyzing the chart and marking off levels (too much prep work).
FOMO and chase entries.
Do not use hard stops, or cancel them when price starts approaching.
Alternatively, use mental stops but don’t cut the trade when the price blows past your exit.
When a trade is really going against you, become a deer in the headlights or just walk away. The loss isn’t real if you’re not watching it.
When it looks like price is starting to come back, average down to double your exposure and potential loss. But hey, you might get back to break-even sooner, right?
Let a day trade position turn into a swing trade position in hopes that it recovers overnight.
Let that same swing trade position turn into a long-term investment (averaging down as needed).
Read up on your new investment and find reasons why it will come back. Baghold as long as required rather than accepting the loss.
Cut your winners short and let your losers run, always ensuring that losers are bigger than winners over a large sample size.
Take profit the moment you are green by a few pennies and then lament about leaving money on the table.
Don’t take profit when the chart is telling you to. Hit a home run or strike out. Like Gordon Gecko said, greed is good.
Use arbitrary stops based on your unrealized P&L, not what the chart dictates.
Use stops so tight that you can barely survive the spread or normal price action.
Lack of Emotional Regulation
Watch every single tick to get your money’s worth. The volume bar also measures your adrenaline/dopamine levels.
Revenge-trade the same stock over and over. Do not stop until you show them who’s boss.
If the above doesn’t work, flip through tickers and find another stock to take your frustration out on.
Fear pulling the trigger on the best-looking setups because there’s no way it can be that perfect. It's a trap laid out specifically for you and your 100 shares.
Be so afraid of losing that your trades are measured in seconds rather than minutes.
After each winning trade, feel overconfident and euphoric. The Wolf of Wall Street ain't got nothing on you.
After each losing trade, become angry and depressed. Feel sorry for yourself instead of analyzing why the trade didn't work.
You are never to blame for your trading results. The market did this to you: manipulation!
Clench your teeth and tighten your shoulders every minute you are in front of the screen.
Get bored when not in a trade, but then get nervous and anxious after forcing a trade.
Patience is for investors. You need to find something to get into now or miss out.
Let your emotions dictate your actions, and not the chart. This is your money—you know what’s best.
Broken Psychology and Gambling Mindset
Psychology is overrated. You've read Trading in the Zone and also decided to become a runner like Mark Douglas did in 1978.
Feel the rush of every trade like it will be your last.
Walk the fine line between trading and gambling.
Treat the market as your personal mobile casino. The next bet is always just a few taps away.
Don’t take breaks throughout the day. You might miss the next big move.
Trade with impulse during the day. In the evening, compulsively obsess over the market.
Zero days off. Spending time away from the markets is for the weak. Especially true if you need to chase back losses.
Hesitate and doubt yourself before every single action. Real traders are never wrong.
Lose confidence in your setups after a string of losers.
Feel invincible after a string of winners.
Discipline and self-control are for robots. You aren't a soldier.
Exhibit self-sabotaging behavior that you wouldn't wish upon your worst enemy.
No mechanisms in place to protect yourself from your worst trading enemy: yourself on tilt.
Wake up every morning and repeat the same bad habits over and over
Live Einstein's definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
And there you have it. By meeting just a few of the above criteria, you too can set yourself up for failure. Feel free to comment additional items and I will update the post.
One True Crime Case From Every Country Part 4: Europe, Albania - Liechtenstein
(I'm back from my hiatus and this is how I'm returning with part 4 of this series I will in this post be sharing a single true crime story from every country in Europe while providing a brief summary of the incident (So don't expect to get everything from this post). Some of these cases are too small for a write-up but interesting enough to be mentioned, others I've already covered and some are on my list for future cases to do a write-up on. Also as my goal is to share obscure cases from outside the anglosphere (Or rather the main big English countries) The UK and Ireland will be skipped when it comes to this list. I encourage further research into the cases if interested and to check out parts 1, 2 and 3 of this series as there is a lot more to these cases than just the brief summaries provided here) Africa: Algeria-Mozambique Africa: Namibia-Zimbabwe The Americas Asia: Afghanistan-Laos Asia: Lebanon-Yemen) ALBANIA:Kombinat Family Deaths(July 2, 2020) After a long period of no contact with any relatives, the police and firefighters arrived at an apartment building in the capital Tirana entering through a bathroom window. They found 56-year-old Zhaneta Josif and 30-year-old Anisa Josifi dead and 34-year-old Blerta Josifi in critical condition and was rushed to hospital. According to the evidence at the scene and Blerta once she woke up the family were all Jehovah's Witnesses (Local Jehovah Witnesses denied they were members) and they all starved themselves to death in order to be resurrected. Anisa had died first and Zhaneta and Blerta kept her body in a room with a fan constantly running and coated her in vinegar and oil to try and slow decomposition. The investigation was closed on May 29, 2021, as no evidence of a third party's involvement or criminal activity could be found. ANDORRA:Roc de Caldes Hotel Shooting(February 23, 2006) A 42-year-old Chinese national living in Barcelona named Xu Huainan entered the restaurant of Andorra's Roc de Caldes hotel to discuss business. The two men he was with were Alain Solsona and his son Marc Solé. They were discussing a real estate deal before the discussions broke down and Xu shot both men dead before fleeing and turning the gun on himself. Due to the initial confusion, the police thought there may have been a second shooter and as a result, both of Andorra's small borders with Spain and France were completely closed. The murder was determined to be related to dirt and laundered money as well as Xu having faced legal trouble in Spain and was suspected to have Triad connections. AUSTRIA:Mauterndorf Shooting(November 20, 1997) Johann Gautsch a 36-year-old unemployed mechanic and gun lover living in the village of Mauterndorf shot dead his neighbour and his family (wife and son). He then walked to another home and shot dead the village's mayor before going to an apartment and killing a 19-year-old soldier and his girlfriend. Once the massive police operation and search began Johann turned the gun on himself. Once the police searched his home they found 4 pistols, five rifles, ten kilograms of black powder and 1,000 rounds of ammunition as well as a note written by Johann stating that demons caused him to carry out the shooting. The incident caused an intense debate on Austrian gun laws. BELARUS:New Europe Shopping Center Attack(October 8, 2016) 17-year-old law student Vladislav Kazakevich entered a shopping centre named "New Europe" with a chainsaw and an axe he had hidden in a guitar case. He used these two weapons to murder 43-year-old Elena Aleksandronets almost decapitating her. He then attacked two other women named Oksana Mikhailovna and Anna Rozentova both of whom survived. He was later restrained by employees and security guards and arrested when panicked onlookers called the police. Vladislav in court said his motive was simply "for fun" while his parents pleaded for their son to be put in a mental institution as he had attempted suicide twice and had previously spent time in a mental hospital. A court, however, deemed that Vladislav was in control of his faculties and returned a guilty verdict. Vladislav's only regret was that the death penalty was not an option when it came to sentencing (at 17 years old under Belarussian law he was 10 weeks too young to be eligible for capital punishment) he was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment and while being escorted away said to the court "I'll be back to finish the job" In March 2018 his sentence was increased to 22 years after he attempted to murder two prison guards with a knife. BELGIUM:Disappearance of Ken and Death of Kim Heyrman(January 4 - February 11, 1994) Two children named Kim Heyrman, 11, and his brother Ken Heyrman, 8 went missing in Antwerp. The police refused to investigate as they believed them to be runaways so their mother had to gather up all her friends and relatives and organize her own search party. On February 11 Kim was found dead at a port in Antwerp with numerous woudns to her body and her underwear missing with her panties pulled down to her ankles. Before Kim's body was found the police actually arrested their mother as a suspect because they disliked her conducting her own investigation. Due to the police's inaction in this case alongside the Marc Dutroux case resulted in major reforms taking place in Belgium's Judicial system alongside the complete reorganization of their police and law enforcement agencies. This case remains unsolved BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA:Hadžija iz Lukavca(May 1, 2002) "Hadžija iz Lukavca" or when translated to English "Hadžija from Lukavac" is a nickname given to a man named Fikret Hadžić. In 1997 Fikret was the owner of a restaurant and during this time he came into conflict with four locals three of whom were brothers and would cause trouble at the restaurant and cause his customers to leave. Due to this, he sold his restaurant and all was well until 2001 when the same people 4 people approached him on the street and beat, stabbed him and kicked his testicles only surviving because a police officer happened to be in the area. They were charged and linked to 17 other attacks but when it was 2002 and still no punishment having been handed down yet (not sure if charges were dropped or if they were just released) Fikret approached them at a store with a rifle and opened fire on the 4 killing three of them. Fikret was sentenced to 21 years imprisonment but had his sentence increased after a letter suggesting premeditation was found and him openly stating that if he expressed remorse he would be lying. BULGARIA:The Belneyskiy Sister's Murders(January 27, 2006) 18-year-old Rositsa and 15-year-old sister Hristina Belneyskiy both went missing after leaving a disco. The search effort was very extensive and described as unprecedented in Bulgaria's history. Their bodies were discovered on January 30th having been raped and beaten to death with stones. Samples were given to the FBI and Bulgaria asked the US and Russia for satellite imagery of the area at the time of the crime. In 2008 the case was investigated and found DNA matching a convicted rapist named Lazar Kolev who in 2011 was sentenced to life imprisonment. Many however believe that Lazar was wrongly convicted as all witnesses to his airtight alibi suddenly recanted, The police found the DNA the second time while the FBI couldn't find a sample, the cause of death after being exhumed was changed to be death by being run over instead of stoning, and the prosecutor, medical examiner and key witness all died after conviction. The case is officially solved but many aren't satisfied with the conclusion. CROATIA:The Murder of Petar Blajić(September 14, 1996) Petar Blajić was a catholic priest living in the city of Split. He was reported to the police on September 17 after he hadn't left his home in 3 days. When police entered the home he was found on the floor having been beaten to death and wrapped up in a white sheet and a towel covering his face. Other church officials blocked the door to his home and tried to stop the police from investigating. Inside his home police found a book written by him called "The Black Book" which had several names and descriptions of sexual encounters with various of the men in the book being influential. The book has been linked to the suicide of a man written in it. Petar's murder has been linked to an unsolved serial killer who murdered three gay/suspected gay men in Split in 1991. I did a write-up on this case. CZECH REPUBLIC:Frenštát pod Radhoštěm Explosion(February 17, 2013) A three-story block of flats suddenly exploded early in the morning causing most of the building to collapse and killing 7 people (one died months later in hospital) and injuring 11 others (2 seriously wounded) with children amongst the dead and injured. The explosion was later determined to be intentional and the culprit was a 57-year-old man named Antonín Blažek who locked all the exits to the building and intentionally caused a gas leak. Antonín was described as a troubled man who regularly had disputes with his neighbours and recently had his apartment foreclosed on. He was caught in the act by another neighbour resulting in Antonín prematurely igniting the gas which was cited as the main reason why the tragedy wasn't worse. DENMARK:The Murder of Vilhelm and Inger Jacobsen(February 20, 1948) The married couple was discovered dead in their apartment beaten to death with blood stains all over the apartment while Vilhelm has also been strange and had his throat slit with a towel wrapped around his neck and a sock shoved into his mouth. Many suspected that World War 2 fighters and former resistance fighters may have been responsible since Vilhelm was suspected of being involved in "Edderkopsagen" as well as his factory producing Nazi uniforms during occupation. Others also suggested more mundane theories such as a crime of passion due to rumours that Inger was unfaithful to Vilhelm. Two suspects have been named one being a former resistance fighter Sven Aage Geisler and later another their former housekeeper named Erik Ramdahl. The case remains unsolved. ESTONIA:The Murder of Voldemar Holm(November 25, 2002) Voldemar Holm a former sailor, KGB associate and later leader of a 15-member religious sect named Uus Elu where he would spread the word of god had fallen ill and into debt in 2001 and was told that he didn't have much time to live. So he paid in advance a friend Rudolf Mehine to drive him out to the wounds and shoot him in the head so that his family would collect his life insurance policy although according to Rudolf what actually happened was that Voldemar set up a rope and pistol firing system on a tree, which he later collected and took with him. Voldemar was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment. FINLAND:Kultamurhat(April 22 - May 6, 1990) Two businessmen named Juhani Komulainen and Turkka Elovirta would one after the other be found dead in gravel pits/a ditch with a single gunshot to the back of the head execution style. During investigations, they were led to a Japanese businessman named Yoshio Tani and as it turned out Yoshio was in severe debt and concocted a scheme about stockpiled gold owned by the Nazis during world war 2 and lured Juhani and Turkka in as they were interested in purchasing the gold. Yoshio professed his innocence and told the police that another suspect was responsible but this wasn't believed and he was sentenced to life imprisonment while his wife was given 9 months due to helping cover up the crime. Yoshio was pardoned in 2006. I did a write-up on this case. FRANCE:Louise Marcelle Pauline(April 6, 1922 - January 1, 1924) A 2-year-old named Pauline Picard went missing from a rural village in the Brittany region with many suspecting that she had been kidnapped. On April 26 the police in Cherbourg informed the family that they found Pauline alive as a child matching her description was found and although she was reluctant to speak she appeared to know details about the family. Everyone accepted the identification until May 26 when a dismembered body wearing Pauline's clothing was discovered in the wounds having died from exposure and wild animals scavenging her corpse. The child was given the alias "Louise Marcelle Pauline" spent the rest of her life in an orphanage where she passed away from measles on January 1, 1924. Her true identity has never been determined. GERMANY:Murder of Vesna Nasteva(November 1, 1980) Vesna Nasteva was a 28-year-old scientist and the daughter of a high-ranking diplomat in Bulgaria's communist party. She was given a chance to study abroad in Germany which she ended up taking. She was on a train home when a teacher entered her compartment and saw a silhouetted man stabbing her repeatably. Being alerted by his screams the man pulled the emergency brake and jumped out the train's window and ran into the darkness. An Italian man with severe mental illness was later arrested after carrying out an attempted stabbing using a similar M.O. but he was ruled out since he had an airtight alibi that being he was in Denmark waiting tables at his job at a restaurant. Vesna's murder has never been solved although some believe that her father may have fallen out of favour and she was assassinated by Bulgarian secret police. GREECE:Melakou Makebe(November 10, 1995) Melakou Makebe an Ethiopian Journalist was on an Olympic airlines flight to be deported to his home country after Greek authorities arrested him for being in the country on false papers. Melakou sought to avoid this so he suddenly got up and held a flight attendant named Sofia Mastelou hostage by holding a knife to her throat. The plane landed in Athens where he gave an interview to the media explaining that he would be killed if sent back to his home country as numerous journalists had been imprisoned or executed including Melakou who before coming to Greece had been held for 6 months without charge due to his journalism. After being momentarily distracted the police managed to sweep in and arrest him. He was sentenced to 6 months and allowed to stay in Greece where he worked some odd jobs before a UN office arranged for him to move to Switzerland for asylum. Years later Sofia was interviewed and said that she was more concerned for Melakou's safety than for her own. HUNGARY:Balassagyarmat Hostage Crisis(January 7 - January 12, 1973) Two brothers 18-year-old András Pintye and 17-year-old László Pintye the sons of a Hungarian border official and member of the communist party. The two wanted to defect to the west but since it wasn't as simple as just crossing the border the two stole their father's weapons and stormed a female-only college holding 16 girls in a dormitory hostage and demanding safe passage out of Hungary. They held the police back who were at the time inexperienced at dealing with such a situation. On January 12 András was lured to a window and shot dead by police snipers while police officers stormed the building and arrested László. László was sentenced to 15-years-imprisonment ICELAND:The Body in The Harbour(February 11, 2004) A diver surveying damage to a harbour caused by a storm in Neskaupstað discovered a dead body in a black plastic bag and wrapped with chains. When the police salvaged the body they discovered that he had sustained 5 stab wounds throughout his body and a possible gunshot wound to the back of his head but what shocked the police the most was how the John Doe wasn't a homicide victim. In his stomach, the coroner discovered 223.67 grams of amphetamine that had been wrapped in latex plastic gloves totalling 61 packets one of which had torn open while inside his body resulting in his death. The body was identified as a Lithuanian man named Vaidas Jucevicius. Three man named Grétar Sigurðarson, Jónas Ingi Ragnarsson and Tomas Malakauskas were arrested and they all claimed that not long after arriving at their hotel in Reykjavik he had suddenly knelled over in pain and refused to be taken to a hospital since he was afraid the drugs would be discovered (the three were in on this of course) and when he died they wrapped his body in a black plastic bag, drove to the other side of Iceland, wrapped chains around the body, repeatably stabbed it and then sunk it to the bottom of the harbour hoping that the true cause of death would go unnoticed. The three were charged with drug smuggling, indecent treatment of a corpse and criminal negligence and sentenced to 2.5 years imprisonment. (I did do a write-up on this case but I'm not going to link it as I'm not proud of my early write-ups and plan on giving it a do-over) ITALY:The Stranger from Lipari(March 19, 2009) On October 2008 in a Sicilian town called Lipari a man 45-50 appeared always wearing the same clothes and carrying a briefcase with him. He only spoke English but enjoyed speaking to the native residents despite being reserved and not saying much. He was last spotted in January after fleeing from a property owner whose's summer house he broke into. On March 19, 2009, he was discovered in an abandoned house having hanged himself. The case was labelled a suicide. The man was never identified and his briefcase wasn't found at the crime scene meaning its contents are also unknown. KOSOVO:Gjilan Family Murder(February 18, 2020) Valdete Bllaca was a police officer who suffered from severe mental health problems resulting in her for unknown reasons killing her parents and her two brothers by shooting all four in the head twice before committing suicide. 4 police officials including the chief of police and chief of operations were suspended for failing to conduct a proper psychiatric evaluation and for not taking away her service weapon upon hearing the diagnosis. Xhavit Azizi the man in charge of taking away or granting access to officer's weapons was even charged with criminal negligence but in 2022 he was acquitted as the court believed his claim that as a civilian staff it was not his responsibility to take away and keep people away from their weapons unlike what others were claiming. He also said he wasn't on duty the day of the murders. LATVIA:The Imanta Pedophile(February 2014 - August 10, 2015) At the beginning of 2014, 4 girls were molested in Pārdaugava, Then in October 2014, a 13-year-old was sexually abused by the same culprit. This culprit would also sexually assault three school girls aged 8, 9, 10-year-old in the elevators of apartment buildings and other highrises. He quickly became Latvia's most wanted and hated fugitive. He was arrested on August 10, 2015, once DNA tests from a prior petty theft case were finally processed and found to match the DNA samples from the assaults. He was identified as Nauris Pikštein and ordered to pay 67,000 euros to the victims as well as serve a 25-year prison sentence although an appeals court reduced it to 22 years. LIECHTENSTEIN:Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium Murder(April 11, 2010) No names, in this case, have been publically released. A 33-year-old cleaner working at Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium (a high school) she was waiting for her boyfriend a 31-year-old German to pick her up from work. Her 36-year-old ex-husband however approached her at the school with a bottle of champagne wanting to celebrate their anniversary despite having been divorced. The boyfriend ended up entering and according to him heard his girlfriend say "I don't want to" and entered to find the ex-husband with his zipper pulled down. This resulted in a verbal and later psychical altercation which ended with the former husband dead. The boyfriend said that he was remorseful but acted in self-defence while his girlfriend claimed that she fled after the fighting but according to forensic evidence both of their versions of events were untrue. The boyfriend was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment while the girlfriend was given a suspended sentence as it couldn't be proven that she had caused his death. (Continue with part 2 here)

However, Drage begin hitting his shots and instantly the game reversed sides and Tribe EU took the set 2-1. NoOne has an incredible rush on the safe where he takes out 50% of the safe's health, a phenominal play. The next set is extremely close and with both teams getting a lot of control and the losing it and then gaining it. Tribe was close to winning the first game, but Zest lock down the zone and get the remaining 27% needed to win the game. In the next two games, Tribe really lock down on the control aspect and get a lot of kills securing them the win 2-1. Finally, the last set was back and forth. Both teams would get the advantage and then lose it which caused a lot of anxiety and pressure. However, Tribe pulled out again with a very close win 2-1. The one thing to remember from this match is that even though Tribe won 3-0, it was very close throughout the games. Zest played really well, but they could not close out and that was their problem. Very well played to both teams and we will see Tribe EU in the Quaterfinals! THIS GAME WAS INSANE. First of all, a reverse sweep, but also some of the best gameplay we have seen. CMG started out with an unbelieve two sets, but Zeta shows us why they are the current world champions by winning the three consecutive sets. Pekka showed us what a menace he was and I definetly see this team going far next year. Unfortunately they had to play Zeta, but what a match it was. The first game was very unexpected as Zeta was unable to pick up a single goal. I think the majority of Zeta's problems started from the fact that they underestimated how strong the Ash pick was. Ash + Max really controlled this game and gave CMG BR the win. Pekka had an insane goal on max which probably was the best moment in the set. The next set was a mess for Zeta as they pick Nita early on in the draft. This proved to be a huge blunder as Nita only got one good use the entire game. Tensai carried really hard on the Max, but in the end CMG BR prevailed with another win putting them 2-0 in this match. The next map was extremely one sided for Zeta, as they get a clutch draft of Sprout while CMG mess up and pick Gale on the map thinking that Zeta would go for a tank. Zeta played a very clean game and won 2-0 in this set bringing back some hope for this team. Next we saw a very, very close set on Hot Zone which could have gone either way, but Kuru played extremely well spawn camping CMG, and Zeta were able to win the Hot Zone set. Honestly, I think this set could have gone either way, but Zeta just had more hp with the Pam, so they came out on top. I don't think we could have asked for a crazier last set. From a technical issue to a double matchpoint, this set was an absolute banger. I personally think Zeta mispicked the Janet because this game proved to be a very sharpshooter type match. However, Tensai was able to wiggle his way around his enemy's shots and provided Zeta with a good amount of pressure. After losing the first game and winning the second, CMG lost connection on a double matchpoint and the game was replayed. The stakes were high, and Zeta delivered winning a clean 2-0 knockout to CMG and moving on to the Quaterfinals. Wow. All I can say is wow. I thought this game would be the closest of the four today, but boy was I wrong. Tribe was able to win every game in three sets (6-0) which was incredible considering their opponents. I don't really have a lot of comments for this game, but I will go through each set. The first set was Bridge Too Far and NaVi spice things up with a Colt last pick. Everyone was shocked, but Tribe punished this mistake and Ezlivi/Tyrant both go insane. Ezlivi was tapping on the Belle and Tyrant held mid control for so long that NaVi never stood a chance. Tyrant especially popped of in this match getting close to 40 kills in these 3 sets. Next moving into dueling beetles, NaVi messed up again letting Tribe get Sprout in the draft. Ezlivi played a brilliant Sprout blocking of a lot of the important walls and since NaVi had no wall breakers, they couldn't counter the Sprout. Tribe easily go 2-0 quickly. Finally, in the last set, NaVi make some sort of a stand against Tribe as they quickly get their hands on Buster + Max. However, Tribe pick Lou and after a draw game, Tribe figures out how to win, and for the first time ever a team finally beats a Buster comp inside of the BSWF. This was a huge win for Tribe as they now have to face on SK. Very well played to both teams and we will see Tribe NA in the Quaterfinals! From the get go, this was a pretty one-sided match. Reconic only had one player (TOC) attend, and honestly, I felt kind of bad for them. They never got a chance to show how good they were because they had to face the giants SK Gaming first round. The first round started off with some questionable picks from SK such as Eve and Nani, but they made it work and were able to win 2-0. Reconic did have some nice kills which made people think twice about the results of the match. However, the brawl ball set is where SK cemented their dominence. SK probably had the fastest set win I have ever seen inside of brawl stars competitive. I believe the whole set took around 1 minute which is ridiculously fast. The last set was slightly better from RCN as they get some early damage in the first game. However, everything quickly goes downhill as SK have full control the entire time and get free damage. After SK got control in both games, RCN got spawn trapped. They were never able to get damage after that which shows how strong SK is as a team. SK was able to close out a very nice match 3-0. My Thoughts on Fallout 76: Much better then I thought it could be
So for some context. I've been going through and playing all of the mainline Fallout games chronologically just to see how the series has evolved over the decades. For the games that I have played before I allowed myself to mod them, hence being able to knock out Fallout 3 and NV in a single go thanks to the TTW mod, and Fallout 4 heavily modded for the first time with Sim Settlements 2 and the Capital Wasteland Mods. During this period I saw that Amazon Prime was giving away the entirety of Fallout 76 for free. . . and so I decided on a whim to grab it. Now I have not touched Fallout 76 since launch on the Xbox One, in which I only played for a couple of days and eventually stopped because my eyes began to hurt from straining to read the in-game notes you can find scattered about, and I wasn't sure what to expect with it all these years later. I was excited of course to see what has changed over the years, see how they implemented the NPCs and dialogue trees and actual quests with PEOPLE, but before I dove into that. . . I decided to go and do the base game content and story first. Because I never did the first time around, and how can I know how much it has improved if I don't actually touch and finish the base game story myself? At this point I have now finished the Base Game Story, the Wastelander's dlc main story, both of the Brotherhood of Steel main stories, and have completed my first Solo Expedition into The Pitt, and now feel ready to share my thoughts on what I found to be great, what I found to be infuriating, and what I found to be weird. -][- So to start out with I have to gush about how gorgeous the game is. I don't just mean because it is obviously the next step above Fallout 4's graphics, which is obvious due to how it came later then 4, but simply on the sheer scale and variety of it. From the gorgeous autumnal forests of the starter area, to the Blasted Ash Pits of Welsh, to the Strangler vine choked swamps of the Mire, the Trench filled ruins of Watoga and the Dr. Seuss tree swamps, the Nuclear Winter of the Far north, or the Mountains separating the maps in the middle. There is never nothing on your screen to not gawk at. Whether it be the ruins of the Old World (almost every single building being bigger and designed in a more complicated way then the vast majority of Fallout 4's dungeons), the strongholds of the Cultists of the Mothman, Blood Eagles, Albino Cave Supermutants, or the Mineshafts of the Molemen. I'll get to combat later and my frustations with it, but I also want to just mention the enemy variety types. The Scorched: The Scorched are the main enemy faction of the base game. The Scorched are people who have been infected with the Scorched Plague being spread by the Scorchbeasts. It is because of them, and the Scorchbeasts themselves, that Appalachia (Apple-Latch-uh) was largely depopulated by the time of the base game, with the main factions having died out trying to fight them back. (The Responders were the last to fall, having created the inoculation to the Scorched Virus, The Free States fell apart, and the OG West Virginia Brotherhood of Steel; we'll get back to them later when I discuss the lore, sacrificed themselves in a hail of nuclear fire trying to stop the Scorchbeast problem at the source dying to the last to save humanity, and the Raiders. . .well the Raiders either fled Appalachia or died off due to in-fighting and the scorched). It is not until after a year after the base game that people start returning to Appalachia bringing with them new enemies or reinforcing old ones. Super Mutants: The Super Mutants of West Virgina are a result of a Military experiment to create super soldiers using FEV on the unsuspecting and unwilling citizens of Huntersville and Steel Reign and Dawn Spoilerslater on more are made and released post-war by the self-same scientists who performed the original experiments, desperate to perfect the FEV virus to make up for what they had done. Cult of the Mothman: The Cult of the Mothman is split into two groups. The Peaceful Enlightened of the Wise Mothman at Point Pleasant , and the Followers of the Dim Ones. The Red Eyed Mothmen. They are also being influenced by The Woods. An Eldritch Entity sending out visions and voices to the cultists.
"Wise and holy Mothman, watch over us in our time of trials. In His example, I am drawn to the divine light. Where His wings flutter, I will follow, and I will not fear the darkness of night. He is our shepherd, guiding us through the darkness to His divine light. Oh great Mothman, look upon your subjects with mercy and protect them from harm. Am I worthy? How will I know? Maybe I should just keep praying. Mothman, hear my prayer. Keep us safe from the dangers of beasts and men. His eyes burn like fires in the night, and no enemy will escape his sight. His enemies cannot hide. His foes cannot escape. All will face the Mothman's judgement On the great day of reckoning, the worthy will become one with the divine light."
I adore them. Because this is who they worship. Mothman. The Mothmen are rare to find, but they are some of the absolute most fun fights to fight in the game and series. But in addition to them we of course have the usual variety of Automatons, feral ghouls, and mutated creatures roaming about, with the additions of Rad-beevers](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/6/6e/FO76_creature_radbeaver.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1000?cb=20210202073225), Rad Chickens, Opossums. The Molemen who are. . . honestly the most tragic mutants in the game and I wish that we didn't have to fight them. The Molemen's lore is full of spoilers and best explored yourselves. But they are so much fun to fight compared to the average Raiders. . . . I actually might as well dive into the new Perk, SPECIAL, and Combat systems in the next segment now. -][- So in Fallout 76 you start the game with every Special stat at rank 1, and every level up to level 50 you choose what stat you wish to upgrade and choose a perk card from that Special Stat to equip or upgrade. Special stats cap at 15 instead of 10 in the previous games. After level 50 you can start scraping your Perk Cards (2, 4, 6 depending on how upgraded it is) to unlock special Legendary Perks. I personally use the Special increasing Legendary Perks, but the first I really thought about taking was the Legendary Perk that maxed out your Unlocking and Hacking abilities freeing up your INT and PER trees for different now non-redundant cards. You get your Perk Cards as you level up. Some you just find appearing in your perk card list as you level up, others come in Perk Packs every 5 levels or upon completion of certain challenges, but there is a wide variety of perks and perk cards so that you can build yourself and character anyway you wish. After Level 50 though you can no longer upgrade your SPECIAL points as you had the previous levels, you are still instead upgrading perks and grabbing new ones with every level. You are never locked into a build as you can switch out your perks at any time, and at certain locations can swap around your Special points for what I believe to be free ( I could be wrong about that I never used them myself). This is the part of the preamble that I was referencing when I said weird. Because I don't know how to feel about this new leveling system and perks. On the one hand, it's really cool that you can adjust your builds on the fly should you find a new weapon or whatnot that you want to try out, on the otherhand it's still so weird. Like you'd think that the Rifleman, Elite Rifleman, and Master Rifleman perk cards would be straight upgrades from one another as you devote perk points into it. But instead it's three separate Perk cards all upgrading your non-automatic Rifle Damage by 30% each at max. Which if you use all together takes up 9 of your PER points, plus an additional 3 if you take the perk that let's your non-automatic rifles stagger and ignore enemy DTs/Resistances. And eventually you start needing these cards or their equivalents for your builds because the enemies of the game always scale to your level. Which can be kind of frustrating but it's also neat because. . .well it means that if you're in the same area as a lower level player they see the same enemies at their level and so will do the equivalent amount of damage that you are doing to enemies to the same enemies that they see at their levels. There are of course ways to increase your damage beyond the perks. Scrapping Weapons and finding plans that teach you how to create better receivers and stocks and what not. If you're stubborn like me you may stick with a favorite Legendary weapon you got at an early level and upgrade it to the point of still holding up 30 levels later even if it's falloff has become painfully clear. Thankfully Weapons and Armor cap at Level 50 versions of themselves in the wild and in your crafting so once you reach that level, nothing shall be forbidden from you that you can find. Speaking of which I might as well add in that, due to popular demand, Weapon and Armor Durability are back in Fallout 76 after having been removed from Fallout 4. I am quite conflicted on this being in 76. It is both super neat, as you can upgrade and repair weapons, armor and power armor up to 200% Durability increasing their cap values and stats. V.A.T.S . . is odd. It's no longer stop time, or slow-mo like in Fallout 4. Now it's. . .basically real time targeting. With a perk, I think the first PER card you get in the game, being needed to be equipped to target anything but the body of those you focus on in VATS. I don't hate it. But I find it very very odd if a life-saver in some situations where I can't hit an opponent worth a damn. Speaking of Weapon and Armor Durability. . . .Your Cooked and uncooked food also has durability. Thankfully your food and thirst levels no longer cause you negative effects should you ignore it, they do give you bonuses for keeping well-fed/thirsted with certain perk cards giving you extra bonuses for doing so. My best advice for this is to find a Fridge Plan as soon as you can, and in the meantime sell off the majority of your spoils before they. . .well spoil. -][- Now for the bad before getting to the Good of the story and lore. 1) Assaultrons are never not irritating to fight. They are tanky, and due to some kind of latency issue they near always have their scary face lasers fully primed and ready to fire at you. 2) You are unable to sell your ammo(at any vendor) and some junk (it seems to depend on the Vendor for Junk) and caps are not exchanged at a fair rate. Vendors in the game all share the same Cap stash of 1400 caps, and reset their shared caps stash once a day. Vendor lists are somewhat randomized so if you are looking for a schematic or plan from a certain vendor you may never actually find it and will have to rely on the wiki for areas where a certain plans may spawn in the wild. 3) You are unable to upgrade your weapon levels. So if you find a cool Legendary item at level 5. . .you can never upgrade it to a higher weapon level. You can modify the weapon sure, and keep it viable for a long time but you can't actually upgrade it in that way. For reference the base damage difference between a Level 5 Pump Action Shotgun is:45 and a level 50 Pump action Shotgun is: 95. Now like I said, by scrapping weapons you find you can unlock a great deal of weapon modifications to keep it at least somewhat viable at the higher levels. But eventually it will be impossible to keep viable at higher levels. 4) Explosion hitboxes are odd and don't seem very consistent. I would constantly miss with grenades thrown and exploding at the feet of enemies with them coming out unscathed. 5) The Level scaling sometimes makes it feel like you're not making any real progress. At least with the boss enemies of the game that feel like I am just plinking pebbles at a Rock Troll. But it's worth noting that I was very stubborn sticking to Ballistic weaponry and never used the perk that let me see what enemies are strong or weak against so that is entirely my fault, though I don't know if the tankiness also is. -][- Alright so the lore. The Lore of the game is fantastic. Fallout 76 takes place 24ish years after the Great War, and so we get a perspective of events that we have never gotten before. Life in the Wasteland just after the Great War, with many many many many many many many many many many notes and holotapes detailing how bad things got, how people tried to hold it together, how factions were born, and just. . . everything and anything you might expect. The Responders were surviving Medics, Firefighters, and Police Officers who banded together to help regular citizens survive the Wasteland by teaching them how to survive and care for themselves and others. The Free States: United States Separatists figure headed by Senator Sam Blackwell (seemingly the only non-corrupt US Senator in the series) and Raleigh Clay who declared succession from he United States of America just prior to the Great War. The West Virginia Brotherhood of Steel: Perhaps the most controversial faction in the base game of Fallout 76 . . .I found their lore to be some of the absolute best lore added to the series. The WV BOS was founded when Captain Roger Maxson went on the airwaves to contact any of his old military friends that he could, reaching out to find allies and bring them around to his new vision, and though many such people joined him in California. . . in West Virginia it was Lieutenant Elizabeth Taggerdy of the United States Army Rangers who caught him on the airwaves. And though hesitant at first Roger Maxson convinced "Lizzie" to listen to him. And so the Brotherhood of Steel became founded. Not without question of course, many of Taggerdy's soldiers and recruits found the whole idea of scribes, knights, and squires to be silly, but Roger Maxson has a way with words. Fallout 76 makes Roger Maxson to be a very idealistic and tragic figure looking back. And so I shall quote his holotape conversations with Elizabeth Taggerdy. The Radio Call that started Everything:
Johnny Moreno: Trying band.. uhhh... AH-13. sigh Lieutenant! I got something! Elizabeth Taggerdy: I can't make anything out. Johnny Moreno: Sorry. Working on it. Roger Maxson: ... Maxson to Appalachia. I repeat, this is Captain Roger Maxson. Elizabeth Taggerdy: Give that to me. Roger Maxson: Seeking any- Elizabeth Taggerdy: Lieutenant Taggerdy here. Captain? It's you? Roger Maxson: Lizzy? Damn, it's good to hear a friendly voice. Elizabeth Taggerdy: Captain. I heard... I heard you're a traitor. Roger Maxson: Traitor? If disobeying unconscionable orders makes you a traitor, then I suppose I am. Lizzy, I'm glad you're alive but I need to find someone in Appalachia. Someone dependable. Elizabeth Taggerdy: That's where I am. The Thunder was running war games against some jarheads. Roger Maxson: They still in one piece? By god, Lizzy. This... This is good news. Elizabeth Taggerdy: Roger, you're a traitor. I could be court-martialed even talking to you. Roger Maxson: Look around, Lizzy. The Army's gone. America's fallen. I know you have questions, but we need to talk. There are things I learned at Mariposa. I got a scientist with me... Doctor Takano. We'll set up a secure channel. I'll answer all your questions, then. Elizabeth Taggerdy: Captain... Roger Maxson: Lizzy, you know me. We need to talk. Elizabeth Taggerdy: We'll monitor this band. Taggerdy out.
Then there is the beginning of the Brotherhood
Elizabeth Taggerdy: Thank you, Captain. It's just us. Roger Maxson: Lizzy. What's on your mind? Elizabeth Taggerdy: A Brotherhood of Steel? What's that even mean? The men over here are confused. Roger Maxson: We need to do something bold. We can't just stay the US Army. What's going to happen, and this is only a matter of time, is some general, or some goddamned politician is going to exit a Vault and start ordering us around. And worse they'll order some grunt to start the whole damned cycle again. Another wave of nuclear death. And if that's not enough they'll do it again. You know they will, Lizzy. It ends with us. We won't let them. Elizabeth Taggerdy: I... I understand. But a Brotherhood? Knights? I'm supposed to call you, what, Elder? Roger Maxson: Words have power, Lizzy. They build identity. They take on a meaning if you keep using them, even if it didn't exist to begin with. It was the Knights and Scribes after the fall of Rome that protected what was left of Western civilization. So we are the new Knights and our role is similar. But we'll need more than names. We'll need new traditions, our own, well, mythology. Something people can believe to their core. Elizabeth Taggerdy: Is this necessary? Roger Maxson: What else can I do? Declare myself President? Make you a Senator? Look around. Something's killing us more than the rads and freaks out there. Depression. People have lost everyone. Every goddam soul. Wives, kids, loved ones, heck even the mailman. We need to replace it with something otherwise people's souls will wither. We'll be little more than walking dead men. Elizabeth Taggerdy: I'll do my best to see the orders carried out, sir. Roger Maxson: Give it time, Lizzy. People have a hunger to believe in something. Just let them work their way to it.
Roger Maxson speaking to the troops in Appalachia:
Hailey Takano: Appalachia online, Captain. Roger Maxson: I know most of you love America. The good old red, white, and blue. But those of us that served at Mariposa know something. America failed. Not because its citizens, who lived clean lives filled with hardship in a never ending war. And certainly not because of its fighting men and women. God bless them. No, its leaders failed us. Senators, Generals, Presidents, all those bastards. Their failure almost destroyed all mankind. But I look around here and I see survivors. People too stubborn, too damned ornery to die. We've fought and we've endured and finally we have a small patch of safety. But having a home isn't enough. We need something more. What we need is... purpose. But we cannot look to the America of old for that purpose. We have to build our own. So tonight, as we break bread together, let us forge together something new. Something strong. Something we can be proud of. Something we can build upon. We'll preserve what's best of what's come before and use it. And one day, we will reclaim what was lost. Let us forge a Brotherhood of Steel.
The Statement of the Brotherhood's mission:
Roger Maxson: Congratulations, Appalachia. Paladin Taggerdy told me of your victory at Huntersville. I know it was costly, but future generations will thank you. As I'm thanking you now. It makes me proud. But that's not why I'm calling. One of the Brotherhood's standing orders is being on the look out for valuable technology. Anything that would help us in our efforts. But as I look in every direction I see chaos. The lights are out, and men have become little better than barbarians. Civilization. Civilization is something I think of every day. I know Lizzy's probably sick of the word by now. To rebuild that. To reclaim that. Our successors are going to need the secrets of the past. And those secrets are in danger of slipping through our fingers forever. So far our Scribes have been tools to help protect our Knights and maintain our bases. That needs to change. The Brotherhood is going to be more than an armed fighting force, we're going to be guardians of civilization. So we have to grab every schematic, every holotape, every book, and every goddamned note that holds the building blocks of the Old World before it's too late. Our Scribes will hold onto them, preserve them, perhaps even progress beyond them. And the Knights will protect them. Like a hard shell around a precious seed. One day, when the time is right, that seed will grow. And a new civilization will be born. This... This is why we were born, don't you see it? Helping your fellow man is a good goal, a soldier's goal. But this... We will be the catalyst that changes the world. I'm sure you have questions, Paladin Taggerdy is fully briefed. I have every faith in you, Appalachia. Elder Maxson out.
Roger Maxson on Nuclear Technology as the WV Branch is slowly but surely being grinded away by the Scorchbeasts:
Roger Maxson: Is this urgent, Lizzy? Elizabeth Taggerdy: Elder. I've read Scribe Takano's reports. I've talked with Grant a lot, too- Roger Maxson: Spit it out. Elizabeth Taggerdy: The Sonic Generators work but there's just too many Sierra Bravos. This strategy of ours, it's just delaying the inevitable. Roger Maxson: You're not giving up on me? Elizabeth Taggerdy: No. Of course not. But I think we may need something bigger. More final. Roger Maxson: Go on. Elizabeth Taggerdy: One of the squires on patrol found a nuclear silo. Still functional. Roger Maxson: What? Even you, Lizzy? Are you out of your god-damned mind? Look around. Look at everything. The death, the destruction, the End of the World. That came from the nukes. Elizabeth Taggerdy: But if we don't deal with the Bravos once and for all, they could kill everyone. All life on this continent. That's what Takano said, right? Roger Maxson: There will always be a reason to use a weapon. Always. But nukes? Never again. I'd mothball the whole technology if I could. Am I clear? Elizabeth Taggerdy: Yes, Elder. Roger Maxson: I consider this matter resolved. I don't want to talk about it again. Maxson out.
And the final conversation that Roger Maxson has with the East Coast, before the satallite allowing for their coms falls out of orbit:
Roger Maxson: Lizzy. Takano says the satellite's failing. So this is it. Elizabeth Taggerdy: Elder, I'm not ready for this. Can't the Scribes do anything about it? Roger Maxson: No. The infrastructure of the Old World is failing. You are the absolute best second-in-command I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Now is the time for you to be in charge, Lizzy. I know you're up for it. I know you won't let your men down. Elizabeth Taggerdy: Roger, we don't have the men for the mission. The Bravos just keep coming. Roger Maxson: Then find new men. Think outside the playbook. Elizabeth Taggerdy: Elder, you trust the outsiders too readily. They will betray you. Roger Maxson: You, too, Paladin? Everyone around me keeps saying shut the world out, only look out for ourselves. Even my goddam son. But the Brotherhood alone can't rebuild what's lost. We need them. Hell, our whole plan is for them. Elizabeth Taggerdy: I'm not thinking of some far off future, Elder. I'm worried about today. And tomorrow. We're fighting non-stop to keep the Bravos contained. I can't afford a weak link. Roger Maxson: I trust your judgment. If our Scribes find anything new, I'll see if we can get word to you somehow. And Lizzy static
I shall forever be bemused that Roger Maxson would likely be so proud of Arthur's Brotherhood. . . and would likely want to fucking strangle both him and Elder Lyons for their usage of Fat Mans and Liberty Prime's Nuclear Payload. But we can see from all of this just who exactly Roger Maxson was, adding to the lore about him already available from Fallout 1 and 2. We see Roger as a highly idealistic man, a man who formed the Brotherhood with the best of intentions, one who wanted to safeguard humanity and spread knowledge and civilization. He wanted his Brotherhood to become Civilization Builders, those who would recruit openly and share their technology so that civilization can begin anew. But he is surrounded by those who hate the outside world, even his own son sharing in these conservative and isolationist beliefs. And we see this clash of ideals time and time again as the series goes on. . .retrospectively. Veronica wanting to open up recruitment to the outside and focus on not just military tech vs Hardin and McNamara's unbending belief in the Codex, Elder Lyons butting heads with Lost Hills and the Outcasts, And Arthur Maxson's Crusade grinding against it's own idealism into paranoia and distrust. Even in Fallout 76's Expansions with Paladin Leila Rahmani (who has all of Roger's idealism) and Knight Daniel Shin (who distrusts outsiders with advanced tech due to his own PTSD and traumas resulting hin his retreating hard into discipline and the orders of the Elders), In 76 you have to make a choice between this Brotherhood ideological split, and it's genuinely one of the harder choices that I have had to make in the series as it happens in a series of events reflecting and mirroring the events that led Roger Maxson to form the Brotherhood in the first place. I know that people, many of whom have not played the game, decried the inclusion of the Brotherhood as fucking over the lore of the setting and it making no sense. . . but that's clearly not the case with the lore that was included in the game at launch and the lore later added with the expansions. I genuinely think that Fallout 76 was worth it just for the lore regarding Roger Maxon and his idealistic dreams and character. -][- Let's see. . . I've covered the lore and went off on a tangent, the creatures and environments, the combat and SPECIAL and Perk system . . what else is there . . . Ah! The C.A.M.Ps! The C.A.M.Ps are pretty alright. It's nice being able to set up shop anywhere in the game, I personally prefer Mountain cliffs or by riverbeds up in the mountains in the middle of the map for my permanent camps You can make some pretty nice looking homes and settlements fresh out of the vault. Won't be very well furnished mind, but you can make some neat things. Most Settlement Plans can run you from 100 caps to 2000 caps at vendors. Many of which can be found at the Whitesprings Mall. The main problem with the C.A.M.P has to do with the Stash. The Stash is. . .well your stash of items that you collect over the game. As of this moment you can stash upwards to 1200 pounds of items of all kind in your stash. So your space is limited. But it can take a while for it to become full. I'll share some hints about that in the next segment. A neat thing about the camps is that you can unlock certain "Allies" that serve as psuedo-companions and romances for your characters. They don't travel around with you, but they do stick around your C.A.M.P and provide you with a unique quest storyline and are chockful of personality. Sadly you can only have a single ally active in your camp at once. I'm honestly not sure why that is. -][- Alright final segment before my concluding thoughts. Some miscellaneous thoughts and suggestions that I would have found helpful starting out. 1) In Wastelanders many of the SPECIAL Checks are 8+, especially when trying to charm the Crater faction, and the vast majority of SPECIAL checks that I saw in the game were of STR, PER, CHA, and INT. You don't need to max them out, I'm not sure that I ever saw a Check over 12. But if absolutely need be one can easily get these other stats up or past the 15 cap at 12 by taking Drugs, Food, or just passive item boosts that you are wearing. 2) Give the Foundation a chance. The Crater starts out as being far more interesting personality wise, but I highly highly recommend going to the cut off point with both factions before deciding on which to side with for the Wastelander's Finale. 3) For your first time playing I highly recommend doing the Base Game content before touching the Main quests of Wastelanders or the Brotherhood Expansions. As the game highly rewards the player for doing so in regards to additional context, dialog to things that your character has done and accomplished, and indeed just things that your character has learned. There is one point in the Foundation questline where you have the option to just prove why you are worth listening to with a conversation that had unique dialog choices referencing everything I had done in the base game. I would say that the First part of Wastelanders should be fine to do, up to finishing helping out at the Wayward Bar and getting their little treasure trove. 4) Always always scrap your junk before stashing it. It will save you hundreds of pounds of storage space 5) Do not do what I did and stay at 1 Endurance up to level 65. I am the Glassiest of Glass Cannons and I wasted so many stimpacks and resources just trying to stay alive whenever I faced any kind of automatic fire 6) Past the Base game you will find that sometimes the choices you can make will require not only your SPECIAL but sometimes what items you have in your inventory. So always keep a bladed melee weapon on you of some kind. 7) Take your time and explore, it took me until level 62 to realize that you can just find CAMP and crafting plans lying out in the world rather then just inside of containers or vendors. 8) Have fun and explore every weapon that you find. You may find yourself liking what you find more then you thought and decide to change up your builds. 9) Always remember that you can change your perks on the fly. So feel free to wade into a dungeon decked in combat only perks, and switch out to your hacking and lockpicking perks after the fact to clean up. 10) You can make a very powerful Bow build in the game. I like to call it the Green Arrow build because you can unlock trick arrows too. 11) Power Armor is very very very powerful but not necessary as with the right perk combinations one can become as tough as any Power Armor in the game. Or at least near as. 12) You have Crafting perks to reduce the cost or repairs, building, crafting, scrapping and tinkering in general. Remember to use them before you start doing any of these things. -][- Final Thoughts: Fallout 76 wasn't a game I thought I would ever come back to. But I shockingly really enjoyed my time with the game this second time around so many years later. I'm not sure how they're going to end the game in the future (I suspect that all of the Nuclear fire will end up isolating Appalachia from the outside world via a Glowing Sea effect around it's borders), or if there are any more planned story expansions planned like the two fantastic Brotherhood expansions, but I hope that there is. I honestly don't know where I would place Fallout 76 on my list of Fallout Rankings as it honestly does so much good that I like , but it is overall hampered by the fact that it has no Overarching plot to tie everything together and the fact that it took so long to get to this state. Where I to rank it as is, if it released this way. . .it may be a contender for my favorite game in the series. But as it is now. . .I think I actually have to rank it as TTW NV> Fallout 3 > 76 > 4 > Nv > 1> 2. Now as for me now that I have completed all of the main story content of the game. . . I'm going to make a new character and see what crosses over. I intend for this new character to side with the Crater and eventually Shin, and have them focus on Capped Strength and Endurance melee and full auto SMGs. I want to see if Plans and the Stash transfer over or not as googling that gave me mixed messages. I look forward to your thoughts on 76 if you have tried it recently like myself for the second time, or if you have been playing it for a while yourself already.
I dont defend this douche guy, he deserve it for being an @sshole. Apa dia jadi agen perantara ketiga macam judi bola? Does binomo even legal? I mean its legal in India. Dan konsepnya nyambung ke forex kan? Gua cuman pengen tahu aja ginian, bahkan telegram grup mayoritas kalangan "investor" begitu kan disangka tempat chat teroris dulu kan dan terus disuruh uninstall. I have trust issues because massive of propraganda we are facing rn.

Banyak kasus orang beli saham pake pinjol.
