In this video, they say that they manage over 12M dematerialized or uncertificated shares (note that this total is not specific to GME only) of which approximately 8M are pure DRS (Book shares) and 4M are book-entry plan related (Plan shares).
NOTE: These descriptions have been updated to more accurately reflect the meanings of these terms.

Dematerialized shares are just digital shares, basically the paper certificates have been made digital and therefore have been dematerialized
Uncertificated shares are just another name for dematerialized shares, there’s no physical certificate
Don’t get confused by the term “book-entry” plan, those are the Plan shares

Reminder that GameStop receives both Plan and Book numbers from ComputerShare, and also a reminder that this video content is not specific to GME.
Something I want to note before we continue… this video was posted on Feb 23rd, but it likely took at least a month to make. I’ve been involved in the creation of YouTube videos for large corporations and there are a lot of steps, a lot of hoops to jump through, and a lot of approvals to get for each tiny thing. Someone has to write the script, get it proofed, approved, someone has to record the voiceover, that needs to be approved, edited, approved again, there are also all the graphics that need to be prepared and approved piece-meal as well as together in animation, the audio and visual components need to be put together… my point is it takes a long time, and I would expect that the numbers that ComputerShare presented were likely from around end of year 2021 rather than mid-Feb numbers.

In mid-March, GameStop released their annual report (pre-split) which noted:

As of January 29, 2022, 8.9 million shares of our Class A common stock were directly registered with our transfer agent, ComputerShare.

Putting that together

So there are a couple of possibilities here based on what ComputerShare says in their video…
Option 1: about 1/3 of DRSed shares held by ComputerShare are for other companies, which strikes me as unlikely considering how quickly GME took top spot on give-a-share, how confused brokers were at the beginning, and how many people have been told by brokers that people asking for DRS are always asking for GME.
Option 2: More likely (in my opinion) is that GME makes up most of the DRS shares that ComputerShare talked about. This was likely year-end 2021 data, so would have been before popcorn and towel stocks started to get on the DRS bandwagon. But… this one only makes sense if the numbers reported in GME’s 10-K are ONLY reporting book entry DRS shares.
So if I'm correct that GME makes up the majority of these holdings at ComputerShare, and the % of shares purchased directly from ComputerShare hasn’t changed (those recurring direct purchases go into plan rather than book), then based on the video ComputerShare posted back in February we may actually have closer to 107M shares locked up (since 8 x 1.5 = 12… so 71.8 x 1.5 = 107.7). Maybe I’m overly optimistic, but I would guess that the percent of shares held in plan currently would be more than it was when we kicked off 2022, because I get the impression based on posts here on Reddit that more people have recurring purchases set up than they did in 2021. So... we might actually be a good amount over 107M.

TL;DRS

ComputerShare released some numbers at the beginning of the year that, when compared to the numbers that GameStop released in their annual report, suggest that shares held at ComputerShare in “Plan” are not part of the total that GameStop has been reporting. So we actually probably already own way more of the float than we ever realized.
I wonder what would happen if everyone converted those Plan shares to Book…? 🤔

PvP, full loot MMOs. The basic concept is that it’s a persistent open world full of players, and they fight it out for resources and power.
In theory that sounds really fun. In practice it rarely works. Players quit after getting killed by a group that vastly outnumbered them, quit after getting spawnkilled repeatedly, quit after the game gets boring due to a series of overwhelming victories, etc. Eventually the game dies or the developers make PvP less of a focus in order to prevent the entire playerbase disappearing.
Some games have managed to do this with limited success. Rust, for example, holds mostly true to this formula, although the regular wipes reduce the consequences of losing. I wouldn’t say it’s a perfect replica of this concept as playercount per server is limited and regular resets are part of the game, which sort of goes against the core concept.
What’s a game idea that everyone hates in practice but loves in theory?

Does anyone know what's going on with Game Theory's downtown location? I stopped by today to see it was closed and a sign saying it would be closed all weekend. Come home and see a post on facebook (that hellsite never shows me new posts) saying it will be closed until further notice.

I think that in Edgerunners Adam installed a Sandevistan specifically for the fight with David. He clearly doesn't have it in the game or he would've used it to catch V and Jackie in the Delemain cab. Regular enemies with Sandevistan can "teleport" around or dodge bullets but Smasher can't... because he doesn't have one.
Smasher is almost entirely a machine and I think that having a military grade Sandevistan on top of all the other tech he has is too much even for him.
Adam likely did some research on David and found out that he has an OP Sandy so he had to temporarily get one too (David would crush him otherwise). If you look at the actual fight Smasher only activates his Sandevistan twice to counter David, I don't think he could spam it even if he wanted to.
He called Sandevistan a "rudimentary implant" to intimidate David and it worked but in reality he'd be dead without it.
After Edgerunners he had to downgrade to avoid losing his mind. Smasher removed his Sandy and a few other implants like the Self-ICE he likely used to stop Lucy's quickhack (V can hack him). He thought that his Cyberpunk 2077 body would be enough to stop V but he was wrong and got killed because of it.
I think it explains the difference between anime and game Adam Smasher better than simply saying "bad boss design".

Having beaten the game i have a theory on how they can continue the story into a new game, I'll try to be vague on the actual game but possible Spoilers ahead.
After Ragnarok Kratos is seen as a savior and i see two possible direction it can go. Theory one, a lesser god or even a mortal goes to Kratos in an attempt to have him help end the pantheon of their own lands as the gods have gone a bit paranoid and power hungry at Kratos having wiped out two Pantheons. Theory two, more possible, the gods of another pantheon again paranoid go after Kratos in an assassination attempt to kill him before they think he'll kill them first or they'll kidnap Atreus in an attempt to learn of a possible weakness. This i feel would drive Kratos more to go out to that land to retrieve his son, just a thought i hand wanted to share. Hope this is the correct sub.

Hey ya'll, if riot goes ahead with this ridiculously stupid self heal nerf, what are the situations in which it's appropriate to use it on yourself? There's a few straightforward scenarios: 1. you're last alive 2. your teammate on other side of map and just you and the 1 teammate left
But lets say on a rifle round where there's two teammates alive and both teammates are at 150. In this case it only makes sense to self heal if your HP is between 10 and 39, or 50 and 79 since that will allow you to survive a 2nd vandal bodyshot. If you're under 10, it won't make a significant difference, if you're under 50 but over 39, it won't make a significant difference.
Exceptions to the above could be made if your opponent is a viper who has a molly left, a phoenix, a kj, sova, etc. But even then, if you have two teammates left, it seems like your best bet if you're at 49hp is to just hide and heal your teammate as soon as they take any damage.

It was already 100 before they nerfed it originally. And clearly riot disagrees with the notion that she should not be able to support herself because well, self heal is still in the game, and has always been in the game. The problem is that making it 30 makes it almost pointless to even have it. Skye is an initiator, how come she can heal teammates at all? Omen is a controller, why does he have a flash? Regardless of whether or not you think she should or should not be able to heal herself, she can, but making the ability almost pointless is ridiculous. This is like changing kayo knife to a slightly larger diameter but then making the suppression only last 1 second. Would you then claim it's a buff because "iT sTiLl gIveS iNfO!!"
