Futures /Forex Position size calculator (R/R in $ value)

The position size calculator displays R in tick value. It would be really helpful to have the option to display R in dollar value. Especially for Futures and Forex traders. In Futures, the tick value is different by the asset.

Trader Rookie Position Size Forex Calculator, need some feedback on a browser extension

Trader Rookie Position Size Forex Calculator, need some feedback on a browser extension
Hey Community!
I am super excited to finally have my browser extension live for anyone to download for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
I would love to get support and feedback on the extension!
❓Why I built the Trader Rookie Position Size Forex Calculator❓
I am dedicated to day trading and trading the foreign exchange markets. I have recently launched https://traderrookie.com to share content for aspiring daytraders and help people get started in the exciting world of trading.
In the long run, I am looking to build supplementing income for my trading career.
Personally I have always been frustrated with the RISK management tools available to traders, so I have developed a position size calculator that lets you calculated position sizes for any forex, commodity, or index pair.
How it works: You set your entry, stop loss, and up to 3 separate take-profit targets, and the calculator calculates your risk size in lots or units based on account size and risk tolerance.
The calculator's user interface synchronizes instantly across browser tabs and lets you calculate position sizes on top of a charting package like TradingView and then execute the trade with your broker in another browser window OR with desktop software like Metatrader or similar.

The extension can be downloaded here:
Chrome web shop:https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/trader-rookie-position-si/kcdjnmmjcnbpbjiemhcdiblekmpnbgec?hl=da&authuser=1
Edge Add-ons:https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/trader-rookie-position-si/addmhmcfpoimgajbbeckdghdpoeobipc
The extension features an add banner.Right now it has an add for the Extension, but I would like to promote content from my webpage like articles and other free stuff for traders.
I have a long list of additional features I would love to implement in the extension in later versions, but for now I am happy to have the first version ready for my audience.
If you're curious, check my page out at https://traderrookie.com

How do swing traders calculate position sizing?

I understand it is optimal to risk 2% of your account and adjust the amount of the stock unit according to the stop loss level and I use the position sizing calculator.
Here comes my question -
Lets say I have 10,000 on my account and I'm willing to risk 2%.
Now I'm planning to enter a trade with entry at 100Rs and stop loss at 90Rs. So now i should not buy more than 20 stock units as per the calculator.
Lets assume I took the trade by buying 20 stock unit.
I'm into swing trading where I'll take multiple positions on different stocks. Now how should I calculate the position sizing for the upcoming trades? Should I enter the remaining 8,000 as my capital amount or enter the entire account value which is 10,000 while calculating my position.

Risk- and portfolio management: Formula for calculating position size

Hello dear community,

I want to discuss the formula for calculating the position size related to risk management. For you I will explain a example:

Imagine you got 0.1 BTC at you BitMEX account (currently this is ~ 1050$ right now). The risk and lose I willing to take is 3 % of my portfolio value. Now, I want to trade Cardano, one ADA does cost 0.00000554 BTC yet.
3 % of 0.00000554 BTC would be a loss of 0.0000001662 BTC.
Important is the loss per coin per trade and the resulting percentage related to the whole portfolio. In our example the formula is:

My position size will be 1850 ADAs with a stop-loss in 3 % negative, if the stop-loss would be triggered I just lose 3 % of my whole portfolio value.

This is the usual formula for calculating position size. Now, my question for the community:

How to calculate the position sizen now?
Best regards OtenMoten

Formula to calculate best qty combination between two product sizes for a specific value

Hi, I’m having a hard time figuring out the best way to set up my data table and figuring out what formula is best to use.
I have patient dosing data and I’d like a formula to figure out how many of each size drug they should purchase for their required dose.
Example: Patient 1 needs 86mg Patient 2 needs 110mg
Product A = 1 bottle of 40mg Product B = 1 bottle of 60mg
I’d like to figure out how to either create a formula to find the below answers
Answer: Patient 1 needing 86mg = purchase 1 bottle of Product A and 1 bottle of Product 2 for a total of 100mg.
Patient 2 needing 110mg = purchase 2 bottles of Product B for a total of 120mg
Thanks!

I need to calculate the amount of skeins of yarn that I'd need to make a blanket for my granddaughter's queen-size bed. It's a pretty yarn intense stitch. Is there some formula to figure this out?

I want to make my granddaughter a cotton crocheted blanket to cover the bed like a coverlet. I found the stitch in a pattern called 'Fisherman's Throw'. I'm not sure exactly what the stitch is called, but I'm pretty sure that it uses a bit more yarn than normal, since there are puffs or over-loops. (whatever those are called). Appreciate any help :)
