“If you know of or own a vehicle matching this description, or know of anyone who may have been driving this vehicle on the days preceding or the day of the murders, please forward that information to the Tip Line.” This portion specifically makes me believe maybe the investigators suspect this individual may have been scoping things out ahead of that night/morning (and that maybe they do think the occupants or driver was involved in the crime). This is just a theory, of course, but had to share my thought on that portion. Edited to add: It’s the term “preceding” that’s got me stuck on thinking maybe several people submitted tips saying they noticed a white Elantra in the area they maybe hadn’t seen before that week or so.

To everyone saying that law enforcement is keeping i information from the families or alleging that the investigators don’t have any suspects, I’d just like to highlight that the very first bullet point of today’s press release by the Moscow PD stated that they are keeping information away from the families AND public to ensure integrity of their investigation. That is a point blank statement straight from the source confirming that they are not, and simply can not, release certain particulars to the public or families at this time. Digital Media Tips: The FBI continues to assist Moscow PD and Idaho State Police on the quadruple homicide that occurred in Moscow, ID, on November 13, 2022. The FBI is accepting tips and digital media at fbi.gov/moscowidaho. On the night of the incident, officers located a dog at the residence. The dog was unharmed and turned over to Animal Services and then released to a responsible party. Rumor Control: Detectives are aware of a Latah County Sheriff’s Office incident of the report of a skinned dog and have determined it is unrelated to this incident. Contact Latah County Sheriff’s Office for further details. Detectives are also aware of a Moscow Police incident of the report of deceased animals left on a resident’s property. This was determined to be wildlife activity and unrelated to the incident.
Detectives are releasing that on the morning of November 13th, the surviving roommates summoned friends to the residence because they believed one of the second-floor victims had passed out and was not waking up. At 11:58 a.m., a 911 call requested aid for an unconscious person. The call originated from inside the residence on one of the surviving roommates’ cell phone. Multiple people talked with the 911 dispatcher before a Moscow Police officer arrived at the location. Officers entered the residence and found the four victims on the second and third floors.

Two men were attempting to meet women at a local business in October, which may have been the ‘stalker’ K was talking about. No evidence they are involved.
The dog was found in a room where no crime had been committed, nor was there any indication the animal had entered the crime scene, but it hasn’t been determined where the dog was located during the murders
No suspect has been identified, and only vetted information which doesn’t hinder the investigation will be released to the public.
